These School Districts Will Dismiss Early Due To Heat

The following school districts in Fairfield County have scheduled early dismissals for Thursday, Sept. 6 due to extreme heat.

A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday with heat index values around 100 degrees.

Danbury Public Schools

New Fairfield Public Schools

Newtown Public Schools

Trumbull Public Schools
