The public meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot by the northern end of the "rail trail" and proceed down the trail to Florida Road in Branchville, The Ridgefield Press reported.
The meeting is to determine what can be done to make the trail safe for running, walking and bicycling. Formerly a railroad bed, the trail is currently owned by Eversource, said The Ridgefield Press.
