A 30-year resident of Brewster and South Salem and a Harvard graduate, Meder has worked in urban planning for more than 20 years and has her own firm, Meder Consulting Services. Before that, she worked for Frederick P. Clark Associates, planning consultants in Rye, said the Ridgefield Press.

In addition to a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Harvard, Meder also has a bachelor of science degree in environmental design and urban studies from Cornell. She will work with Brosius for about a month before taking over the reins, added the Ridgefield Press.
