Two Men Charged With Robbing Bank In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Two men were arrested Monday in connection with the robbery of First Niagara Bank in Ridgefield that took place Jan. 24, according to CT Post.

Andrew T. Rendflash, 35, of Oxford, and David Stiber, 45, of Shelton were arrested on warrants issued in state Superior Court in Danbury.

According to the article, Rendflash faces third-degree robbery and other charges, while Stiber was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree robbery.

The Ridgefield Police Department released a photo of a suspect (above) last week. The robbery occurred at at about 1 p.m. Jan. 24 at the First Niagara Bank branch at 108 Danbury Road.

One suspect entered the bank, demanded cash from a teller, and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. The suspect said he had a gun but did not show it, police said.
