RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Police are investigating attempts to burglarize houses on George Washington Highway and Cross Hill Road Monday afternoon, according to the Ridgefield Press.
Capt. Jeff Kreitz told the Ridgefield Press that police are seeking a 50-something-year-old man who reportedly threw a rock into a slider at a residence on George Washington Highway.
The female homeowner confronted the suspect who left the scene, the Ridgefield Press reported
The same person reportedly was seen by a homeowner walking outside their house on Cross Hill Road, Kreitz told the Ridgefield Press
Another police investigation involves the overnight theft of a Porsche from a driveway on Haviland Road, according to the Ridgefield Press.
The car is a black Porsche Cayenne, and was unlocked with its keys in it, said the Ridgefield Press
Police warn locals to take out valuable items from their cars and lock them, Kreitz told the Ridgefield Press.
