RIDGEFIELD, Conn. The Ridgefield Fire and Police departments are searching for what they describe as an overdue runner.
As of 11:30 a.m. long distance runner David Riek, a 44-year-old white male, had not returned home from a run.
Fire Chief Heather Burford said that he had left from the Florida Road area and had been due back by around 8:30 a.m., he is not being classified as a missing person yet.
Riek is described as being bald and wearing running attire. No specific descriptions of clothing have been given.
