Pound Ridge Man Charged With Stealing Pricey New Canaan Shotgun

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A Pound Ridge man stole a $7,650 shotgun from a barn on a Father Peter's Lane property, New Canaan Police said.

Matthew R. Blasco, 22, of 68 Westchester Ave., Apt. C., turned himself into police Saturday afternoon in connection with the Nov. 5 theft. He's charged with third-degree larceny and third-degree burglary. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released to appear in court on March 10.
