Police: Pedestrian Struck By Car In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – A woman was struck by a car backing out of Bernard’s restaurant in Ridgefield on Sunday afternoon.

According to the police report, around 4:30 p.m. Norwalk resident Elizabeth Kenny, 42, was walking in the parking lot at the restaurant on West Lane when she was struck by a car driven by 59-year-old New York resident Richard Gros.

The report was not filed until Monday, and Kenny told police that she was in pain as a result of the accident.

No damage was reported for Gros’s car, and no charges were filed.
