A local man allegedly tried to pull a fast one over on officers who stopped him on a busy roadway near I-95 in Connecticut.
Members of the Milford Police Department stopped a vehicle on Boston Post Road near the I-95 overpass shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, when the driver committed a moving violation.
During the traffic stop, the driver, Norwalk resident Thomas Caves, provided the officers with the false name of Ryan Frobel. He was also found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe that had marijuana residue inside.
Caves, 24, was arrested and charged with interfering with an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued an appearance ticket and was directed to appear in court on Nov. 6 to answer the charges.
