RIDGEFIELD, N.J. – Raymond H. Kappmeier, 88, of Ridgefield, died Sunday, Nov. 8.
He was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Union City, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Before retiring, he worked at Western Electric in Kearny.
He was the husband of 64 years to Elizabeth (neé) Cappitelli; father to Garry and his wife, Judy; Louise Grossi and her husband, John; grandfather to four grandchildren; great-grandfather of three; and brother to three siblings.
The family will receive friends from 8-11 a.m. Thursday at the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, 495 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Fairview. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
