RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield author David Rich will lead an "Author Talk" at the Ridgefield Library on Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. about his latest novel, "Middle Man," which is set to launch the same day.
Rich's latest novel, Middle Man, is already drawing positive reviews.
Library Journal said, "Rich’s screenwriting talents make [the plot] plausible as we follow a labyrinth of violence, deceit, and villainy in which the good guy wins, but the bad guy may reappear later. Lots of fun."
Middle Man is Rich's second novel and the second book in the Lt. Rollie Waters series.
His debut, Caravan of Thieves, was released in 2012 and drew comparisons to such prominent authors in the thriller genre as Robert Ludlum and Elmore Leonard.
Rich has sold screenplays to most of the major studios and to many production companies in the United States and Europe, including the feature film Renegades, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips.
Rich was raised in Chicago and received his bachelor's degree from Tulane University. He went on to earn his master's degree from The University of Colorado.
The program is co-sponsored by Books on the Common. It will be held in the Library Program Room.
Attendees are asked to register for the event as space is limited. To register, log on to ridgefieldlibrary.org . For more information, call Lesley Lambton at 203-438-2282 email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
