RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Either winter came early or baseball stayed late. In Ridgefield on Sunday, snow flurries were flying along with the foul balls.
Spectators and players alilke enjoyed the white stuff at Governor's Park in Ridgefield. as Norwalk took on Ridgefield in a Babe Ruth League game.
Temperatures were in the 40s on Sunday, but small flakes were flying with colder zones in the upper atmosphere.
Warmer weather has been cruising in since then, with high temperatures expected in the 60s on Wednesday under sunny skies.
