Wednesday, Nov. 28 Morning Book Group: 10 a.m. to noon. The book group will discuss Man Booker Prize winner “The Sense of an Ending” by Julian Barnes. It is about Tony Webster is in his mid-60s, divorced, retired and leading a comfortable life, until he is bequeathed a journal from his friend Adrian, who committed suicide at age 22, and suppressed memories slowly surface. Thursday, Nov. 29 Exploring Connecticut's Natural Wonders: 7 to 8 p.m. Brendan Hanrahan will lead a discussion about the many discoveries made around our small state, including rocks and dinosaurs.
