Festival of Lighthouses: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 11th annual “Festival of Lighthouses Contest” places 24 hand-crafted lighthouses throughout The Maritime Aquarium. Visitors will follow the homemade beacons through the galleries and then can cast a vote for their favorite. The Maritime Aquarium, 10 N. Water St. Norwalk.

Meet the Author Story Time: 10:30 to 11 a.m. Children ages 3 and up are invited for a story time with author Jamison Odone reading his new book, "Mole Had Everything." Meet and greet the author! Ridgefield Library, 21 Governor St., Ridgefield.
