RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Comedian and former "Saturday Night Live" and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn will perform a one-man show based off his New York Times bestseller "The Coloring Book" at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sept. 10 at 8 p.m.
Quinn's one man show is directed by Jerry Seinfeld and tackles how increasing sensitivity and political correctness may have resulted in avoiding the subjects of ethnicity and race altogether. His observations include which stereotypes are funny and which are based on truths or have become distorted over time.
Steakhouse Cellar Door (439 Main St.) will offer a complimentary glass of draft beer or house wine and dessert before or after the show upon presentation of show tickets.
Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the box office, online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org or by calling 203-438-5795.
