RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Singer-songwriter Steve March-Torme, son of legendary entertainer Mel Torme, brings his cabaret show to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m.
He will sing classic standards and original songs and also share personal stories from his life. Torme has performed in every type of venue from intimate jazz clubs to performing arts centers and festivals worldwide.
A wine-and-cheese tasting starts in the lobby at 7:15 p.m. This evening of contemporary music is part of the No. 109 Cheese & Wine Art, Wine and Jazz and the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series.
Bernard’s, located at 22 West Lane, Ridgefield, is offering a special prix-fixe menu, before and after the show, for attendees with tickets. Reservations are suggested.

The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield.
