DANBURY, Conn. -- Legendary country rock band Pure Prairie League will perform at The Palace Danbury on Saturday, Nov. 12.

Pure Prairie League is credited with bringing the "country rock" genre to a national audience in the 1970s, according to a release from The Palace Danbury.

With hits like "Amie," "Let Me Love You Tonight," and "Two Lane Highway" the band's music is known for sweet harmonies, clever lyrics, red-hot lead guitar and rip-roaring pedal steel, the release said.

The concert will start at 8 p.m.

The Palace Danbury is at 165 Main St., Danbury.
