'Lightning Thief' Musical Comes To The Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- "The Lightning Thief" will come to the Ridgefield Playhouse on Dec. 6.

The musical is adapted from Rick Riordan's best-seller about the trouble-prone Percy Jackson and his adventures with beings from Greek mythology.

"The Lightning Thief" is presented as part of the Ridgefield Academy Family Series. The fast-paced, one-hour musical was nominated for Outstanding Musical from the Lortel Awards and for Best Family Show from the Off Broadway Alliance.

Performances will take place at 1 and 4 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at the box office or by calling (203) 438-5795.

Visit Dimitri's Diner (16 Prospect St.) before or after the show and present show tickets to receive a 10 percent discount.

The Ridgefield Playhouse is located at 80 East Ridge.
