RIDGEFIELD, Conn. The Keeler Tavern 's antiques fundraiser, a tradition at the Main Street museum in Ridgefield for 17 years, takes place this weekend.
From Friday, Aug. 3, to Sunday, Aug. 5, the museum will play host to furniture and estate pieces as well as donations from residents. The pieces will range from the 18th to 20th centuries and will be showcased in the museum's Garden House.
Among items being displayed are furniture, oriental rugs, china, glass, silver and jewelry. Less ornate and lower-priced furniture will be showcased in a large tent on the grounds. The sale will also include an area for small bargain items.
Early shoppers can enter the sale between 8 and 9 a.m. Friday for a $10 fee. After that, there is no admission charge. Regular sale hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
