The event, open to dogs, their owners and everyone of all ages, will be at the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Center from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, rain or shine.
It will include live music, food, beer, wine and vendors. It will also feature the doggie fun zone where your pooch can be the star on an action-packed agility course.
Additionally, paw painting will provide attendees the opportunity to receive a one-of-a-kind masterpiece created by their dogs.
Children's activities will include face painting, art class, flower crowns and beyond fun and games.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair as well as a camera to capture all the doggie fun.
ROAR was founded on the simple principle that it would provide animals in need with the same love, care and compassion that people provide their own family pets.
Since ROAR opened its doors in 2005, it has placed almost 4,500 neglected and unwanted cats and dogs in caring homes throughout Ridgefield and its surrounding towns.
Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Center is at 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield.
