RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Comedian Tig Notaro will perform at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Monday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m.
Tig’s style has been described as a no-holds-barred brand of observational humor.
She is known for her feature film debut on “In a World,” and her work on “Walk of Shame” with Elizabeth Banks. She has appeared in numerous TV shows including “The Sarah Silverman Program,” “Community” and “The Office.” Her writing credits include “The 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards” hosted by Jane Lynch and “The 2010 MTV Movie Awards” hosted by Aziz Ansari.
Her latest album, "Tig Notaro: Live," has received praise from critics and comedians.
Rolling Stone called it “an amazing, uncomfortable document, as Notaro relates her recent ?run of tragedy.” Comedian Louis C.K. said it was “an amazing example of what comedy can be. A way to visit your worst fears and laugh at them.”
