Allison Brush-Stern, owner and founder of Collapse-It-All LLC, is included in the second edition of “The Mom Inventors Handbook; How to Turn Your Great Idea Into the Next Big Thing” by Tamara Monosoff.

Brush-Stern’s invention of the CollapseAPail – a foldable, packable pail for easy storage when traveling with the family – earned her a spot in the best-selling author’s book and has served as inspiration to other entrepreneurs.

The guide for product entrepreneurs is packed with step-by-step advice on taking an idea to market – covering the latest, most innovative ways to create, fund, market, distribute and sell. Having created a product solution and effectively taken it to market, Brush-Stern offers up personal resources and true insider tips on how others can do the same.

“I’m thrilled to share my story about developing and launching my product Collapse A Pail," she said.

According to Brush-Stern's CollapseAPail website, the first idea of the CollapseAPail came in 2010 when she forgot the toys during an outing at the beach with her family. Recalling how her mother used to carry a collapsible plastic cup for a drink at any time, the idea of collapsing pails slowly came into view.

Brush-Stern graduated from the High School of Art & Design and received her bachelor of fine arts degree from Pratt Institute. She lives in Ridgefield with her husband, a local chiropractor, and their three young children, Ryan, Aidan and Carly.

"The Mom Inventors Handbook" is available at Amazon and other booksellers.
