Battle Of Ridgefield Re-Enactment To Impact Traffic Saturday

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A re-enactment of the Battle of Ridgefield on Saturday will impact traffic in the Main Street area for a couple hours.

Ridgefield Police are warning drivers that traffic will be diverted in the Main Street area on Saturday due to a re-enactment of the Battle of Ridgefield.

The re-enactment will close Main Street form 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Southbound Main Street traffic will be diverted down Pound Street to New Street to Gilbert Street to High Ridge, and letting out onto West Lane. From West Lane, drivers will be abel to travel eastbound towards the fountain or westbound towards the New York state line.

Northbound traffic will be diverted down Branchville Road to East Ridge Road to Grove Street, and letting out onto Danbury Road.
