Baldwin made the announcement on the Suffield School website.

“I am writing to you today to announce that I informed the Suffield Board of Education last evening that I am the finalist candidate for the position of Superintendent of Schools in Ridgefield, CT. I will be meeting with members of the Ridgefield community on Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, and anticipate appointment to the position by the Ridgefield Board of Education at their meeting Monday evening, Nov. 24, 2014. I anticipate starting my employment in Ridgefield on July 1, 2015.”

Baldwin will replace the current Ridgefield Superintendent Deborah Low.

Low had announced her plans to retire at the end of the 2013-14 school year, but agreed to stay in the district in June after an unsuccessful search for her successor.
