Ridgefield Schools To Dismiss Early After Power Outages

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Four Ridgefield schools have lost power Thursday, and three will dismiss early.

Ridgefield High School, Scotts Ridge Middle School, Barlow Mountain Elementary School, and Scotland Elementary School have all lost power, the district announced. Branchville Elementary School is also experiencing phone outages.

These schools are now on an adjusted early dismissal schedule. Barlow Mountain is running on a generator and will dismiss at a normal time. 

Dismissal times are as follows:

  • Scotts Ridge Middle School - 11:50 a.m.
  • Ridgefield High School - 11:15 a.m.
  • Scotland Elementary - 12:25 p.m.
