Report: Ridgefield Catholic School Expansion Raises Zoning Concerns

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Despite concerns ranging from traffic to sprinkler systems and runoff into Lake Mamansco, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to continue the hearing for the proposed expansion of St. Padre Pio Academy to Nov. 6, according to the Ridgefield Press

Residents raised concerns about traffic along Route 116, the location of the school and the proposed new building, referring to police records that showed an increase in rear-end collisions in the area, the Ridgfield Press reported before the meeting.
