According to the report, German and Chinese exchange trips for students of world language at Ridgefield High School were canceled due to concerns about terrorism. the story said.

Talking about the China trip, a parent told the Ridgefield Press it was canceled without conferring with the parents.

Trip families will lose $550 in deposits and fees that will not be refunded or get vouchers from the tour firms for different trips, the article said.
