SHELTON, Conn. — Companies 1 & 3 from Echo Hose Hook & Ladder Co. 1 in Shelton extinguished a burning tractor-trailer on Route 8 early Saturday morning in the snow, according to a Facebook post.
Firefighters from Echo Hose Hook & Ladder knocked down a truck fire early Saturday on Route 8.

The crew made a quick knockdown before the fire could reach the trailer, firefighters said.
Engine 32 and Engine 35 provided additional water and scene protection.
