Yorktown Man Charged With Allowing Dog To Run At Large

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man was arrested on May 16 for allowing his Pitbull dog to run at large on Springhurst Street, according to the Yorktown Police.

Cliff Mascarehas, 26, was served a criminal summons after police received a call from a resident of Springhurst Street reporting the dog running at large. Officer Garcia was dispatched to the scene and found the dog, police said.

Mascarenhas was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court on June 16.
