Gioacchino (Gino) Randazzo, 87, Of Sloatsburg

SLOATSBURG, N.Y. -- Gioacchino (Gino) Randazzo also known as Jack, of Sloatsburg, died on April 22, at the age of 87. 

Born April 13, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, to Vincenzo and Vita (DiCapo) Randazzo. Randazzo was an Army veteran of the Korean War, 7th Infantry Division. He was employed by Ford Motor Company where he retired after 24 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Harrigan Randazzo and four children, Victoria (Randazzo) Kenyon and her husband, Doug; Vinnie Randazzo and his wife, Lysa; Joe Randazzo and his wife, Deborah and daughter, Gina Randazzo; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Brett and Brittany Kenyon. Jared and Samantha Randazzo and Brianna and Ryan Randazzo; and his brother, Joseph Randazzo and sister-in-law Mirella. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church in Sloatsburg burial will follow at FW Loescher Veteran's Cemetery in New Hempstead. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Scarr Funeral Home Route 202 in Suffern.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in his memory of Gino are requested.
