Toyota SUVs collide in Ridgewood, smash into pole, tree

YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: Two SUVs collided at the intersection of North Walnut Street and Robinson Lane in Ridgewood just before the Super Bowl kickoff tonight.

The driver of a Toyota Highlander’s was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with non-life-threatening neck and back injuries.

The driver of a Toyota Sequoia didn’t require treatment at the scene.

The collision’s force propelled the Highlander into a utility pole and the Sequoia into a large tree.

The result was heavy front-end damage to both.

A stop sign also was destroyed and the utility pole requires replacement.
