Set in the medieval Scottish highlands and based on a novel by Sir Walter Scott, DiDonato is the “lady of the lake” (the opera’s title), and Flórez is the king who relentlessly pursues her. Together, their vocal fireworks embellish the romantic plot in the production, conducted by Michele Mariotti.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 seniors and $15 for students, and can be ordered here, or by calling the box office at (203) 438-5795. The performance is free for students 18 and under by showing ID at the box office.
