The party's national convention will be held in Cleveland from July 18 to 21. Frey said Trump was not his first choice, but he is voting according to how Connecticut Republicans voted in the primary, according to the Ridgefield Press.

“The superdelegates have to vote for whoever got the majority of votes in their state primary — the winner. So, I have no choice,'' Frey said in the Press story.

Frey is serving his ninth term as a state representative in the General Assembly. He is the principal/co-owner of Century 21 Landmark Properties in Ridgefield.
