Ridgefield Voters Re-Elect Marconi For Seventh Term As First Selectman

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Voters in Ridgefield on Tuesday returned First Selectman Rudy Marconi for his seventh term in office.

But the race for four seats on the Board of Selectmen was too close to call late Tuesday. 

The five candidates for selectmen were: 

Selectmen:

  • Barbara Manners/Democratic Party
  • Stephen J. Zemo/Democratic Party/Independent Party
  • Maureen Kozlark/Republican Party
  • Andrew Bodner/Republican Party
  • Bob Hebert/Republican Party/Independent Party

In other races, winners included: 

Town Clerk: Barbara Serfilippi/Republican Party

Tax Collector: Jane Berendsen-Hill/Republican Party

Board of Education to fill vacancy: Douglas A. Silver/Democratic Party and Sharon D'Orso/Republican Party

Board of Assessment Appeals to fill vacancy: Jeffrey S. Lundberg/Democratic Party

Planning and Zoning Commission to fill vacancy: Timothy Dunphy/Democratic Party

Zoning Board of Appeals (full five year term begins 2015): Glenn C. Smith/Republican Party

Zoning Board of Appeals (full five year term begins 2016): Duane C. Barney/Republican Party

Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate (full five year term begins 2015): Dwayne L. Escola/Democratic Party

Zoning Board of Appeals (full five year term begins 2016): Michael S. Stenko/Republican Party

Police Commissioners: George F. Kain/Democratic Party and Charles A. Knoche/Republican Party
