Ridgefield To Hold Public Hearing On Land Donations

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Three tracts of property have been offered to the Town of Ridgefield, and the decision on whether to accept them will be determined at a public hearing Wednesday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

The three pieces of property being considered are:

  • The proposed donation of 1.11 acres of land on Sarah Bishop Road to the Town of Ridgefield from the Ridgefield Boys & Girls Club;
  • The proposed donation of 2.25 acres on Tanton Hill Road to the Town of Ridgefield from the Ridgefield Boys & Girls Club;
  • A proposed property swap between Joseph PellicioneĀ  (lot C08-0030) and the Town of Ridgefield (D08-0003) to allow for an existing trail to be located on town property.

Maps and related documents for the proposed property transactions are available to the public in the Offices of the First Selectman and the Town Clerk.
