RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Town of Ridgefield Board of Selectmen has scheduled a public hearing on a proposed blight ordinance on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall large conference room at 400 Main St. in Ridgefield. The meeting is set to include the public hearing on the proposed blight ordinance.
The goal of the ordinance is "to protect, preserve and promote public health, safety and welfare; to maintain and preserve the beauty of neighborhoods; and to allow for control of blighted premises."
The full ordinance is available for public inspection in the office of the First Selectman and the Town Clerk and on the Town of Ridgefield website .
