RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Ridgefield's registrars of voters will hold a voter registration session on Tuesday, April 12, from noon to 4:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

Those who wish to vote must be enrolled in a political party to cast a ballot in Connecticut’s presidential primary, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26.

Seventeen-year-olds turning 18 by Nov. 8, 2016, may register and vote in the primary.

The deadline for online or mail absentee ballots is Thursday, April 21. The in-person deadline is Monday, April 25, at noon.

Those who believe they have a right to vote in a party, but have missed the party declaration deadline, may appeal to the registrar during the voter registration session.
