Ridgefield Board Looking To Fill Charter Revision Commission

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Board of Selectmen is looking for a few experienced professionals for a Charter Revision Commission.

The commission consists of seven members who examine the town's charter and provide input to the board. The board is looking for "experienced, dedicated and qualified professionals" to serve on the commission, according to a press release.

"Applicants should be familiar with the current Town Charter, which is online, and have time to commit to the Commission," representatives wrote in the release. "Commission members will be responsible for examining the Charter of the Town of Ridgefield, contacting various agencies and departments of the Town, and conducting several public hearings."

The Charter Revision Commission provides the input and suggested changes to the Board of Selectmen, according to the release.
