The proposed retail zone would cover six properties and five acres, the Ridgefield Press said.
A similar, much larger proposal covering 35 properties and 57 acres was opposed by retailers and residents alike and finally thrown out by a judge last March, reported the Ridgefield Press.
The proposal likely will have a public meeting with the Planning and Zoning Commission sometime next month, the Ridgefield Press said.
