RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Republican John Frey was re-elected to his eighth term as Ridgefield’s representative in the 111th District in the Connecticut House of Representatives in voting Tuesday night, officials said.
He beat Democrat challenger Jeff Bonistalli.
Frey has served as representative for Ridgefield since winning the seat in 1998. “I felt pretty good going into tonight,” he said. “It’s just a great community to represent across party lines.”
Bonistalli said he was humbled to have worked with the group of people and supporters that he had.
“Even though I lost,” Bonistalli said, “I couldn't be happier with the support team.”
