RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Police in Wilton and Ridgefield worked together to arrest a man who was wanted on charges of selling drugs in Ridgefield, police said.
On Tuesday, Wilton police contacted Ridgefield police to inform them that they had Norwalk resident Camilo Lopez, 25, in custody on an unknown charge, police said. Ridgefield police had an outstanding warrant out on Lopez to arrest him on drug-dealing charges, police said.
Lopez was charged with illegal distribution of drugs, turned over to Ridgefield police custody and posted his $500 cash bond. He is due at Danbury Superior Court on July 1.
