RIDGEFIELD, CONN. -- Ridgefield police are congratulating two new police officers for their graduation from the police academy this week.
Eric Boulware and Louis Geller both attended the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden.
They are members of the academy’s 351st class.
Boulware and Geller were sworn in as officers in September before enrolling in the six-month course, according to a report by hamlethub.com.
They will work for three months with a veteran officer before striking out on the own.
According to hamlethub.com, Boulware, who is married and has one child, coached football at Ridgefield High School and is a graduate of Ohio University where he played the game.
Geller, of Wallkill, N.Y., was a corporal in the U.S, Marine Corps Reserve and is a graduate of Norwich University, a private military college in Vermont, the hamlethub.com article said.
