A spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutors Office said the delay was due to a lack of judges to hear the case, but added the date could be changed, the Ridgefield Press reported.

Ernest Williams Jr. of Montclair, N.J was charged with shooting Schiavetti in July 2012 at a home in Montclair, N.J. during a robbery.

Schiavetti was a graduate of Ridgefield High School and was attending Villanova University. He was working as an intern at Thomson Reuters and would have been a senior.
