When Deputy Ronald Yeager arrived to check out the report of the suspicious vehicle, he found a male sitting in the driver’s seat, with the vehicle’s keys in the ignition and the engine running, said Capt. William McNamara.

The deputy discovered that the driver of the car, Yerlin Giron, 29, of Danbury, Conn., was intoxicated, McNamara said.

Giron was arrested for DWI, a misdemeanor, and was booked at the Sheriff’s Office headquarters in Carmel.
