Small Fire At Ridgefield High Blamed On Burned Filter

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Firefighters were called to Ridgefield High School on Sunday evening to clear out smoke created by a burned air filter, according to the Ridgefield Press.

The alarm came in at 7:52 p.m. with 25 firefighters responding, the Press said.

Once the source of the smoke was determined, responders were able to shut down the heating system and clear the smoke from the building, the Ridgefield Press reported.
