RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The Ridgefield Police found that a local woman was wanted for identity theft, forgery and larceny after she was pulled over.
Elizabeth Johnson, 23, was stopped on Dec. 14 by police around 12:50 a.m. The reason for the stop was not stated in the police report. But the officer ran her name through the computer and found that she was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Johnson was charged with forgery in the third degree, a misdemeanor, and identity theft in the third degree and larceny in the third degree, both felonies.
She was held on a $10,000 bond and brought to Danbury Superior Court the same day for arraignment. Court information was not available.
