Ridgefield Teen Charged With Breach Of Peace

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - A 17-year-old Ridgefield girl was charged with breach of peace in connection with an incident in town earlier this month, police said.

The Ridgefield Police Department asks that residents contact them if they fear for their safety or the safety of the community.

The police report said an altercation occurred at the Valero Gas station late on July 3. No further information about the altercation was available. 

The girl was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a written promise to appear, police said. She is due to appear in Juvenile Court on July 22.
