RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association, the Ridgefield Professional Firefighters Association and the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department will hold its second annual Safety Day on Sunday.
The events will take place in the parking lot of East Ridge Middle School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission is free.
There will be a demonstration of the Eagle One helicopter at 11:30 a.m., and Officer Shawn Murray and Loki will present a K-9 demonstration at 12:30 p.m.
Tables will be manned by the local Lyme disease prevention department, Ridgefield Prevention Council, Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association, Ridgefield Fire Department, the S.A.R.T. (State Animal Response Team), and more.
There is also a softball game planned between the Police and Fire departments at 3 p.m. at East Ridge's ball field.
The school is at 10 Ridge Road.
