Ridgefield Police Charge Two Men WithTresspassing

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ridgefield Police charged two men with trespassing after responding to a call about suspicious activity at an office building on Danbury Road.

At around 8 p.m. July 11, someone called police to say there were suspicious people inside the office building. During the search police found Timothy Clew, a 40-year-old Haddam resident, and Brian Mota, a 39-year-old Trumbull resident, inside an office where, according to the report, they had no reason to be.

Clew and Mota were charged with second degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor, by the Ridgefield Police and were released on a promise to appear. They are due at the Danbury Courthouse on July 26.
