RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- A 23-year-old Minnesota man wanted on a sexual-assault charge is back in custody after Ridgefield police found him trying to sell magazines door-to-door in the Turner Road and Ridgebury Road area, according to The Ridgefield Press.
Piotr Wasienski was held on $100,000 on June 23 pending a court appearance after police got a complaint about two men peddling in the area, The Ridgefield Press says.
Police learned Wasienski was facing a sexual assault charge involving a minor while checking identification, The Ridgefield Press reports.
The other man was released with a warning that door-to-door sales is not allowed without a permit, The Ridgefield Press says.
